Dawn bit her lip then sighed and moved to relight the fire.... once it was up a bit she got more meat and put it on the stick she had propped p over the flames.... She had already eaten a bit so she only put enough on for him... then she went over to calm her horse who was being very restless for some reason... "Calm down Wildfire... there is nothing to be afraid of..." she spoke to the horse as if he could understand everything she said, and of coarse.. he could....

Cy rolled his eyes and chuckled to himself. Animals had never been calm around him. There was just something about him that the creatures of the wild found unnerving. He glanced over his shoulder, watching the horse.

Dawn put her hand on the stallions snout and spoke softly to him.. and he soon began to calm....

Cy smiled wickedly and leaned forward a bit, a soft low hum coming form his lips. The sound changed subtly to that of a high decibel that only certain animals, like horses, could hear. He turned back to the fire, watching the food, while continueing to make the sound...it was the sound that agitated the horse to begin with.

Wilfire suddenly reared up, breaking the tie that was holding him and he gallopped off into the night... Dawn called for him but the stallion kept running....

Cy rolled his eyes. "Your horse ran away." He snickered softly. "He will come back though correct?"

Dawn eyed him then glanced back to where her horse had run... "I hope so.. i've never seen him so spooked." she said.. "If he isn't back in a few hourse i'll send Sasha to find him." she said as she came back to sit on the other side of the fire.

Dawn tensed and bit her lip thinking that she had said too much.. "Just a friend" she said tensely then started turning the meat so it could cook more

Cy pushed his cowl back slightly. "Friends?" He gave her a very skeptical look. "There is not another person here." He looked around sarcastically. "No...there is no other person..."

Dawn smirked.. "I have very few two legged friends." she said casually and honestly.... she glanced at him thru the light of the fire as she took the meat off the passed it to him...

Cy rolled his eyes again. "Well..." He took a large chunk from the meat with his teeth. "Where is this Sasha then?" He sniffed softly with his elf senses ready. The scent of animals was near but nothing large enough to go after a horse.

Cy watched her, smiling and thinking he might understand what she was talking about. He was around the elves a lot; he understood magic and the many uses of it. "I understand." Cy took another bite, smiling softly at her and knowing that he was making her at least a little uneasy. It wasn't like he was a bad guy...but mischief really was pretty fun.

Dawn tucked her hair behind her pointed ears and chewed her lip, looking away form this man... she wasn't sure what but there was somethhing about him that just felt.... odd to her... she looked back to where her stallion had run off to... but he was no where in sight and she was getting worried
