Cy rose an eyebrow. "Do you want me to go and retrieve your horse?" He rolled his eyes and stood, preparing to go on his way to get the damn thing. HE knew he could retrieve it if he could get close enough.

Dawn rose to her feet as well.. "I'm not sure that's such a great idea... he did not seem to like you very much." she reminded him

HE rolled his eyes. "You can come with me if you wish." He looked off in the direction the horse had run. "I'm good with animals..." He looked over at her, smiling. "Both good at spooking them and getting them to like me."

Dawn glared at him, catching on then that he had indeed been the cause of her steed's ire... she sighed "alright then... lead on." she said and grabbed up her quiver, straping it to her back and slinging her bow over her shoulder, double checking her weapon belt as well

He nodded and turned, walking away from where her horse had ran. "Don't think I'm crazy for going this way, just I know he's over more to this direction." He walked slowly at first, allowing her to catch up to him and walk beside.

She eyed him carefully... "How do you know?" she asked him curiously as she fell into a silent step beside him

Cy shrugged. "I can hear the movement of a large animal that isn't musky enough to be a bear." He shrugged and glanced over at her. "Can't you?"

She hadn't really been paying attention but now that she thought about it she did smell it.. she nodded slightly and picked up her pace just a bit.. wanting to find her steed and get back to camp

Cy watched her and lifted his hand, resting it against her shoulder while they walked. "Calm...he is spooked and won't care that you are his master." He looked out into the gloom. "Let me draw him and you get him."

She started to protest... to say that she could speak to him... that he would come to her... but she conceded the point since she was still learning the finer arts of the druidic way of speaking to animals...

Cy smiled and walked so softly through the forest, you would hardly be able to hear him pass. He listened for the heavy breathing of the horse, and the felt around him. He hummed softly, a low thrumming barely audible that he had been taught would calm wild horses.

Wildfire pawed at the ground before him as he heard the humming... he neighed quietly.. nodding his head a bit....
Dawn stood a few feet back.. letting Cy work.. but she kept on her guard since she didn't quite trust him just yet....

Cy smiled softly and reached his hand out towards the frightened animal. He sighed very softly and clicked his tongue. Watching the horse cautiously, he began to hum softly, a gentle, thrumming melody meant to soothe and calm.

The white stallion neaighed softly and took a tentive step back away from the half elf.
Dawn tensed a bit.... but nothing noticable... her hands easily within reach of her weapons if Cy turned on her and her horse friend.

Cy leaned a bit, letting the cowl fall from his head to present a softer visage to the stallion. He parted his lips, whispering gently, the way he was taught, to bring the horse forward enough to put the mane in reach.
