Thayne nodded, "Well, I'm still t' be thankin ya." He said as he chuckled over the last part of Athrogate's statement. He sighed as he looked towards the door, and shrugged. He sat back down on his boulder and leaned his head against his shoulder, slowly drifting into a light sleep.

CAlihye considered his words for a moment then sighed, sounding annoyed with all of this. But inside she was all jittery to be working with Jarlaxle again. Alright. Fine. Do i get paid? or is my life my payment? she said the last part just to annoy him some more. He was very cute when flustered.

Jarlaxle tapped the toe of his boot, smiling a wicked little smile. He adjusted the eye patch to sit more comfortably on his eyes and watched her intently, wondering if she remembered he wore the eye patch. "Well, Calihye, whether you get paid or not is reflective on how could a job you do and how in line you stay."

Calihye nodded and glanced away a moment. How can i think he is so attractive when i despise him so!? She mentally kicked herself again for thinking such thoughts... then she remembered he was wearing that eye patch of his. Oh! I do hope he didn't catch that! she almost outwardly winced but she caught herself and quickly composed herself once more. She looked back to the drow and sighed. Alright then, what am i to do first? she said in exasperation.

Jarlaxle chuckled. He had heard it but he chose to ignore it. He leaned forward, at the same time shifting the eye patch to the other eye. "Well, the first thing I would like you to do is to go and take Athrogate and retrieve your weapons." He smiled and lifted a hand, shaking a finger at her like a chastising parent. "And don't think to pull any tricks. He knows the way there and back and by your own eyes you know him to be a good fighter." Jarlaxle leaned back. "And not to mention that everyone here is loyal to both myself and Kimmuriel."

Calihye spat a mental cure towards the other drow, how she hated that one. Why would i pull any tricks, dear Jarlaxle, when i have already told you i would work for you? she said hautily then turned on her heel and headed back to the room in wich the two dwarves were in...

Jarlaxle snorted. "Because, dear Calihye, you have shown me quite clearly, on several occasions, that what you want comes before any oath or loyalty." Jarlaxle shook his head and followed her out the door.
Athrogate straightened as he heard the sound of the elves moving back towards the door, which probably meant they were coming out towards them. He didn't bother waking Thayne, figuring after the cold experience he had been through, he deserved a nap. Jarlaxle would set him up.

Calihye smirked confidently, Come now, Jarlaxle, you cannot tell me you have not once forsaken your word to better your own position, can you? she said to him over her shoulder, her voice back to that teasing way she often spoke to get her way with things, though she really didn't notice what tone she was using with teh drow.

Jarlaxle rolled her eyes. "No Calihye, when I give my word I keep it." He walked past her and opened the door, smiling and giving a little bow as she went past. "It's when I don't that you need to watch your back. I have more honor than to go back on a promise." He walked over to Athrogate, kneeling and speaking to him in hushed tones.
Athrogate sighed and looked up at Calihye. He was always confused about that one. Sometimes she acted as though she were still on the good side...but others she acted just as though she had always been on his own. He chuckled softly. "Come on then, to the weapons lass." He trotted ahead of her, and glanced over his shoulder. "I'm t' be goin' fast so yeh better be movin' that ass." He 'bwahaha' ed as he left the room.

CAlihye shot Jarlaxle a distainful glare as she followed the dwarf into the corridors. Do not worry. I would be moving faster than you if i knew where my weapons lay. she said simply as she moved swiftly beside Athrogate.

Athrogate burst out in another round of 'bwahaha's and shook his head, propelling them past the other drow lurking about as quickly as he could. Being underground felt good, that was the dwarf in him, but the warrior and adventurer in him was yearning for the road again. At first, he had regretting joining with the drow again, but now Athrogate was starting to warm to him. He was rather enjoying all the adventure, not to mention the pay, that was coming his way from Jarlaxle.
Besides, there were no nasty dragons, no nasty wizards, no gargoyles, and definitely no Dracolitches. Athrogate almost shuddered at the thought. There weren't many things he wouldn't face and the drake had topped his list. He smiled up at Calihye, wondering if she too reveled in the thought of freedom, of adventure, of returning to the construct of Castle Perilous. For, Athrogate had to admit, he was looking forward to it.

Yes, Calihye loved a good adventure just as much as any. But did the adventure really have to be this? Tenured to Jarlaxle, being held practically prosioner supposedly for what she had done to Entreri? The assasin was teh one that had kille dher friend... he was the one that had asked her to leave her home... she glared ahead... but on the bright side.. .at least she would get to see Jarlaxle a bit more.
Calihye followed teh dwarf easily, never missing a step as they wound their way donw the halls, walking past the other drow in the complex... how she hated being underground!

Athrogate led her to the place where her weapons were held, motioning the drow to lean down. He spoke quickly, relaying Jarlaxe's instructions. The drow looked down confused and then at Calihye. "But Kimmuriel..." Athrogated huffed mightily. "Kimmuriel can kiss me arse for all I'm carin'. It's Jarlaxle I'm pledgin' to." He glared, daring the drow to keep talking. He shook his head and turned, retrieving her weapons from the pile.
Athrogate took them and immediately stared back the way they'd came, mumbling about Kimmuriel and drow in general.

Calihye smirked at Athrogate, I'll be taking that. she said and reached out to swiftly swipe her sword free from the drawf's grasp.

Athrogate glared and turned a little, presenting her with the rust oil covered morning star. She didn't dare touch that. "I'm to thinkin' ye aren't. Jarlaxle telled me not to be givin' them to ye." He shook his head and walked faster, the morning stars bouncing and his beard swaying with his steps and head shaking at her impertinence.
